"Sampling the honey bee latte at Makenna Koffee Company, even with half sweetness, left it surprisingly sweet. The Hawaiian-themed atmosphere was captivating, and though the coffee leaned towards the pricier side, its flavor justified the cost. A visit, albeit occasional, is worthwhile. Opting for a Monday morning at 9:30 am ensured swift service, and the abundance of outdoor seating added to the appeal, despite indoor seating being somewhat busy and limited."

"I tried the Coco Cabana and it was just way too sweet for me, it over powered the coffee itself. I was hoping they would focus more on the coffee bean itself, but it seems like they’re very big on additional flavor sweetners. They use TORANI and that alone did not give me hope as a quality tasting coffee shop. These are sweetners that I have tried at home and have purchased online or at TJMAXX. The atmosphere is nice for pictures, but if you are looking to study this is a no because of the loud music. I noticed the espresso station was quite messy. The counters and floors were sticky and filled with wrappers."

"By far the best coffee spot in all of Santa Clarita, and I’ve tried them all. Their drink variety is extensive and unique. Nothing taste artificial and they have special lattes you won’t find anywhere else. I’ve always been more of a tea person, so when I say this coffee is amazing I really mean it. The place also has a great atmosphere, and a nice indoor and outdoor area. It’s my new favorite study/work spot. The staff is great too, they are friendly and they work their butts off. Please don’t waste your time at Starbucks, this place is a thousand times better. I highly recommend the Almond Blossom Latte and The Ben Latte."

"Second time visiting Makenna Koffee Company. This is a crazy busy coffee house. Tbe decor is very inviting. They have a huge menu. The Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their foods and drinks. Great Staff and Management. I highly recommend that you try this Koffee house."

"Got the Maui Latte and was not disappointed. I guess they use their own homemade “Maui Milk” — it’s sweet but not too sweet. The vibe and decor of the place are bright and maybe a bit feminine. There is enough seating for probably about twenty people in here. It’s a great place to wash down breakfast at fellow Simi Valley transplant The Flying Yolk next door."
