"I've cherished countless delicious and heartwarming meals at the original Native Foods in Palm Springs. So, when news arose of a potential closure, my heart sank. Thankfully, two heroes stepped up - Sean Reynolds and Misti Rausch. These aren't just new owners; they're veterans who've poured their souls into Native Foods for years, Misti for an impressive 11 years as General Manager! Witnessing their tireless dedication throughout the pandemic's ups and downs inspired immense confidence. I highly recommend the basic burger but also any of the seasonally changing specials"
"I know vegan food in the valley is usually trash but I gave this place a chance and it still disappointed me. I ordered the nachos and a kids Mac and cheese with fries. The nachos were some of the most atrocious things I've ever tried at a vegan restaurant. The vegan cheese sauce tastes sweet for some reason and it leaves a gross after taste that took awhile to wash down. They're definitely not nachos and are more like chips with corn and sugar and a sprig of cilantro. For what they're charging you'd expect more. The kids meal actually wasn't bad surprisingly. The Mac and cheese tasted like the daiya brand and was fine. They really skimped on the fries because the bag wasn't even halfway full of skinny greasy fries. The watermelon Fresca is underwhelming, I wouldn't even know it's watermelon if I didn't order it myself. The only thing I'd say was actually worth the money and delicious was the chocolate chip cookie. It's perfectly sweet, soft, and fresh. I was hoping to have somewhere to get vegan food other than chef Tanya's, but after those terrifying nachos, I'm never coming back. Just another overpriced tourist restaurant like all the rest don't waste your time or money."
"The gastropub burger was one of the best vegan burgers I’ve ever had in my life! Staff was friendly as well. Only thing I’d constructively suggest is improving the ambience- like maybe some table flowers, plants, mood light. Food tasted 5 star but the atmosphere felt like there was room for improvement. Overall had a great experience and I’ll definitely be back!"
