"Got one of their current bestsellers, Earl Grey Fresh Milk Tea. I chose 50% sugar level as recommended, but it’s still too sweet. Last time, I chose Milk Foam Special House Coffee from another location and loved it. This time, I got disappointed. The staff was fast and attentive (I only saw one). She was friendly and polite."
"This is my last purchase in Gong Cha, the lady working over there can’t attend the customer well, she was so grumpy, she was looking at us with a bad face. Nasty service. I hope the owner review the cameras, date and time show in the picture."
"It was fine when it wasn't busy, but then later on it became a long wait and misunderstanding. There was a new employee, his first day, and I don't blame him. He was with another coworker who was making the drinks as he took the orders. Wait was long, but then found out from the female worker that they "don't sell food" when I had ordered the waffles. I should have just substitute it for another drink, but then decided on a refund instead. They refunded cash instead of back to my card. The waffle was $5.25 not including tax. They gave the exact change minus the tax. I told them about it and the female worker didn't want to do the math so she said to just give an extra 25 cents back. I calculated the tax and told them it was 49 cents back and not half what they gave me. I even showed them the calculator and the tax on the receipt. Tax was 9.375% or so. They told me "yeah we gave you 50 cents" and I had to explain to them that they gave me the original $5.25 and an extra 25 cents. I needed the remaining 24 cents. The female worker seemed like she wasn't having it and it was too complicated for her so she told the new worker to just give me another 25 cents. I wasn't paying attention to the tea name on the receipt because after leaving the counter to sit, I noticed it was the wrong tea. But by then I didn't want to make anymore trouble for the new worker, so I let it go. More over, I was watching the female worker make everyone's drink. She was very unsanitary towards handling the cup to the ice to the teas. I kind of stopped watching after she put her fingers inside the cup to transfer to the next table to scoop ice into the cup as the ice falls onto her hand, back into the ice container, scooped again and repeated. Then pouring the last remaining drop of tea from the big jug, instead of making new tea, she tries to tip the jug to get every drop (probably watered down and old by now). The male worker was super nice and apologetic. I hope he has more confidence and still works. That was the only plus side of the place. Thankfully the drinks were made with no unsanitary measures and they tasted fine as well."
"Good quality milk tea... thr portions are kinda small now. They changed to a slim cup even with a large size which cost $0.50cents more. It gets busy on the weekends... line is about 10 mins... weekdays not too busy about 3 mins wait.."
