"Needed a smog check and the people I usually go to were full. So I saw this place in murrieta on other side of building offering smog checks and they were not busy so I decided to check them out. Now I've had a little bit of an issue getting my car to pass the smog I've had a check engine light that I can't fix and.last time I thought I did my usual guys told me after resetting a code you have to drive the car a bit before trying for smog again. So I did that put in almost 100 miles and like I said they were busy so I went to these other guys. Now granted I didn't ask about the no pass no pay smog service but I don't think I've ever been to a smog place that charged me for not passing. So off course the cars computer was still not ready and the gentleman in front asked me if I had reset computer on car. I told him I had after fixing problem but had ran 100 miles already. He sated it wasn't ready and was going to have to charge me for test anyway that I should have been honest and told him I reset computer. Now as far as I know when fixing a check engine.light issues you need to reset the notification. I didn't know I had to give my whole car history to the front desk just to get a smog. He told me I shouldn't try to sneak the car past them and the test which sounds pretty unprofessional and rude. I'm not a mechanic and figured the car was ready. Any way I think this place could have handled this in a more professional way maybe waved the smog fee and explain to me they charge regardless for next time. I think that would have made me me and my family loyal customers instead I will not be returning here at all."
