Ichifuji Sushi

"This was some of the best Omakase I've ever had. It's a great spot to check out if you're visiting SD or are local. We went for a birthday and got the bigger Omakase portion, and we were beyond satisfied. The chefs are super nice and funny. It is a very intimate experience and worth every penny. We can not wait to come back. The fish was so fresh and the staff was accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend if you like sushi. Reservations are needed. We spent a little over an hour and a half here, and they even took a photo of us with the chefs at the end and printed the picture out for us to take home to remember the occasion. The menu changes each season, so you can come back and try something new depending on what is in season. High-quality food ❤️"

"Look we had high hopes for Ichifuji and they didn’t disappoint! Hiro and Masato are artists. They walked us through an amazing omakase tasting menu that rivaled the best spots in Japan and Singapore (my favorite sushi spot) and we left with a smile on our face! "I have been to Ichifuji 3 times now since they opened and on all 3 separate occasions, the food has been equally phenomenal. (The pictures are from multiple different occasions) Both chef Masamoto and Hiroshi are the friendliest and most professional craftsman in their trade. Every dish is a work of art and prepared to the highest level of skill. I've been to sushi restaurants across the world, to Japan, LA, San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Sweden, you name it. From Michelin restaurants to secret underground joints and I can say absolutely that Ichifuji Fuji is my go to. The environment that the staff creates for the guests, the quality of the food, the vibe of the restaurant, and the price for quality, just makes me want to come back again and again. I'll be back as soon as possible and hopefully there will still be seats available. I imagine this place will blow up soon and I hope I can still get in when it does."

"Amazing restaurant and an amazing experience. Great environment for an anniversary dinner and/or smaller group gathering. The space is very intimate and the chefs are great conversationalist who love their art. Food was amazing. Fish selection was great and plentiful (especially the red snapper). The summer tasting selection was magnificent. Will definitely be back."
