"I was searching for a converter lock and i was recommended whittier muffler from a coworker. I'm so happy i called. Hugo was very friendly and knowledgeable. Because converter locks are selling like hot cakes right now, i did have to wait a tiny bit. BUT it was worth it. He kept in contact with me the whole time, so i knew the status of the lock. When I took my car in, it was a fairly quick installation. Price was on point too! Other places were quoting me a arm and a leg to get a lock. The shop is appointment only and they do a lot of different work there. I highly recommend whittier muffler! I will be back when my car needs repair!"

"Hugo's guys do great work. Got my exhaust was done and also my generator was switched to alternator. The reason I am giving it a 3-star was because I called one day to get my belts changed and long story short was supposed to be a $40 job became $120 job. When I went to tell him it was supposed to be $40 he then got upset and said I'm just trying to help you. I told him well you should have called to let me know it's going to be more. He then said you want me to take it off I said yeah he said he would charge me the labor to take it off so to avoid an argument because this is where It was heading I told him forget it I'll go ahead and pay for it. He at least was able to drop it 10 bucks so I only paid $110. About a year later the bracket broke. When I called to tell him he said custom parts don't have warranty. I then told him I didn't want the custom part you put it in there without telling me then I had to pay what you wanted me to pay. Then he said bring the car and I'll give you a deal on fixing it. I never went back. Since then I have not gone back and I don't plan on doing so this happened about a year ago. I now go to a guy down the street who has been fixing my car."
