Ten Gu Ramen

"Not bad but not great. I recommend getting the rice dish over getting the ramen dish. The chasu ramen was super disappointing. The meat was really dry and tasted really old like it was precut and left in the fridge uncovered for several days. Super meh. Mid tier. Felt sick for a couple hours afterwards. The rice dish was good though. The rice was moist and the meat was tender."

"This was my first ever experience having actual Ramen that wasn't from a bag and I have to say it was phenomenal! The service was excellent as well. This will definitely be a regular place for my wife and I to frequent our dinner dates. The atmosphere is quaint and tiny but it makes it far more appealing for myself reminding me of old sushi restaurants and shops. The small footprint of the store makes it more authentic and inviting to feel like you belong there. I hope this place stays in Oceanside for a long time!"

"We had a great meal! This place is a hidden gem and I am glad it hasn’t been overrun by Otaku yet. It’s only a matter of time until they find it - it’s pretty close to the only daiso in the area. Delicious and reasonable pricing, it has been a long time since I’ve had a good priced eel bowl or a generous helping of bonito on takoyaki. For that matter, it’s been quite a while since I’ve had soft shell crab too. My wife got the spicy miso ramen and it did not disappoint! The eggs were a perfect medium, the noodles had the right amount of springiness and the broth was rich. It’s an unassuming place, but the decor is nice and they have a small wine and beer bar with a lot of selection."
