"We come here at least once a week -- the guys making the bowls always have great energy! My favorite is the marinated tuna and the spicy tuna + adding spicy crab, plus the sweet sesame, citrus ponzu, and spicy mayo sauce. All of the sides are delicious!! Whenever we move away from SD this is the takeout we'll miss the most!"
"Tbh food is just okay. Your average poke place. Its 15 bucks for the smallest poke but they do not offer indoor dining. It started raining and I came inside and they said they do not offer indoor dining when I saw people eating inside when I was ordering. I had to take my leftover half eaten poke home."
"This is the freshest chipotle-style poke place I have ever experienced! The fish is so tender and smooth it’ll melt in your mouth. The marinated tuna is a must-try."
"Their poke was amazing! I ordered small bowl (with 2 scoops of sushi rice), shiso corn, edamame, seaweed salad, tuna, seared albacore, topped with green onion, crispy garlic, and furikake. Should’ve added shredded nori as well! For the sauce I chose spicy mayo and shoyu, everything tasted balanced (sweet-creamy-crunchy-a bit spicy-and umami!). The fish were all fresh and the only concern were only the dining area. There’s no shade at all so it’s better to do takeaways!"
"I usually get the large just because I love that you can do 5 scoops. However, I have never been able to finish this in one sitting. So it’s great for two meals. One day I’ll try the Hamachi Kama bowl. They make it fresh, so you have to wait for it to cook."
