"Atmosphere was good at 7 am with busy workers and chill tunes playing in the background. This place is NOT dog friendly (no problem) so I waited outside with the dogs while my wife went in to order. We got a cold brew and a honey cinnamon latte, both very good drinks to start our day. Parking was off street and easy to find free parking nearby but I’m sure it gets busier as the day goes on since this is such a close location to balboa park. They also have some breakfast bakery items which we’ll have to try next time we’re back"

"This place is so cute! My friend got me a gift card here since I just moved to SD and I loved coming here for a vanilla latte! The staff were INCREDIBLY nice!!! I should have asked for their names they were seriously over and above kind and made sure everything was perfect. They should honestly get a raise the service was so good!!! Look forward to coming back here soon! :)"

"The staff are cool and friendly. Clean cafe and a vibe of high standards, which is reflected in the flavor of the drip coffee. Not a place to work inside. Cute patio for taking a break and enjoying your brew. I love that we can pre-orsee, with 24-hour notice, a box of drip to share with others. Quality tea selection. ****Promoting less waste by having a glass jar swap program! #zerowaste The best double baked croissants filled with almond or chocolate! Flaky yum!"

"Great coffee company. After being a "Darkhorse" guy for many years, James Coffee Co has won me over! Loving their whole bean selections: They grind it perfectly for my french press. Prepared coffee's are just delicious and prepared with care. "To Go" program is cute and easy. Swag is on point. Pastries are amazing.. I recommend this place for the best coffee ☕️ in San Diego!"

"Smooth and delicious. Great service. I wanted to take my coffee to go, but they don’t serve paper cups. It’s great, but if you’re on 15 mins break, you don’t have time to sit and drink, and not enough space in your purse for a glass jar; that’s only my consideration. They have an excellent blueberry scone. Make sure to tell them to warm it up (taste is way better with warmth) Still, I took my friend the next day for that coffee."
