Hidden Treasures Thrift Store
About the Business
Hidden Treasures Thrift Store is a non-profit organization located at 913 South Main Avenue in Fallbrook, California. Our store supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Fallbrook community by providing comprehensive hands-on job training and individualized life skills coaching.
You can schedule a donation by filling out the form on our website, and we will be in touch with our availability. The proceeds from our store go towards funding various enrichment activities such as art, cooking, sign language, reading, dramatic arts, and life skill classes for individuals with disabilities. We also support other non-profit community organizations.
One of our team members, Alejandro, has been with us since 2016 and has shown dedication and enthusiasm in his work at both the thrift store and workshop. His strong work ethic serves as an inspiration to us all. We work closely with Care-Rite, a vocational service that helps intellectually disabled adults learn the necessary life skills to become more self-sufficient and independent individuals.
Visit Hidden Treasures Thrift Store to support a great cause and learn more about the individuals we work with and their inspiring stories.

"I found some of my absolute favorite pieces here! I don't just like coming because of the articles, but also because of the extremely friendly contact with the employees. Thank you!"
"UPDATE: Thank you Toni, store mgr! It’s a donation, pass the blessing to those needing it, thanks again Bought broken VCR, wished I was able to have checked while I was there. One of the older ladies there wasn’t customer service oriented, she seemed bothered that we asked. We know portion of funds goes to those with intellectual disabilities (my grandsons on the spectrum) no one understands more than I do & quite honestly don’t have a problem with that & the volunteers were sweet. It was the older woman that gave us attitude for being there that ruined the experience."
"Such a neat store with a great mission! They can be a bit picky with taking donations but I’ve never had any real issues with it. Selection is smaller than some other stores but very nice and all the people are super friendly and helpful! Such a happy place."
"They refused donations of clothing because they said “we are almost closed”. I said it’s just a few bags of clothing and she again says our clothes section is almost closed. 15 minutes till closing and I told her I would bring them in and again she says no and I said I understand but can’t you put them in the back room and put them out tomorrow? She shakes her head and says no! And they support the community? I think not."
"Easy donations, gets good items but generally priced on the higher side and they use ribbons which force you to constantly have to check the legend to find out what the price is. They do go half off occasionally They leave all new items on carts in the store and are extremely slow to price them. To top it off your not allowed to look or touch them. If your not pressed for time stop by if you are go to Angel which beats them in every category. Jeremy is a legend though, they also have an extremely nice younger Mexican girl that works there. Great attitude and very polite"
