"There is a lot of stuff here, but it’s not five stars because the branding is not consistent with what is inside here. At least Diaso and the Dollar Tree don’t do these kind of mark ups. However four stars because they do have a lot of choices. They have better brand name stuff than other dollar stores but at this point I’m not sure if the prices are even lower than Walmart or Target. Overall, not a bad place to shop, but might consider just shopping at Walmart or Target instead just cause it’s not 99 Cents Only."
"I didn't find what all I was looking for in the place should be called 99 Cents "Psych" because there's hardly anything there that's 99 Cents anymore but other than that it wasn't a bad looking store"
"This has been one of my local stores for the better part of the last 3 decades. I’ve been a regular and have seen way too many “changes” of employees since then. While I have not really paid attention to the multiple change of employees now that I am retired, I have chosen to pay more attention to why there is such a sudden change of employment in my local “go to” 99 cent store. I’ll backtrack about a year ago to the first time I witnessed the “management “ personnel berating the employees. While the first time I witnessed this and I made a comment about it, I was made to feel that I should mind my business elsewhere. I did so…for a while. I have a bit of time on my side now that I’m retired and have seen the manager berate the employees almost to the point of me actually stepping up and intervening. Like I said, I’ve gone to this store for a few decades and didn’t want to create waves. I’ve recently paid more attention to the Manager on staff continually berating the employees and now it appears to me that said Manager possibly is hiring new employees and taking hours away from the employees that we have grown to love. I am simply asking that you as a corporate unit will look into this particular store to make sure that everything is on the up and up. Mind you, I have several pictures and videos of the store managers car (looks like a hoarder either stealing from the 99 or using their store discount and reselling"
"I love going to the 99 but they are getting expensive. I used shop regularly but anymore they are almost as expensive as going to the market, some things more expensive. You have to look at weights of things and price not just price. It's a bummer for those of us with lower income whereas it used to be helpful knowing we could get nutritious food on a more strict budget. I understand they have to keep up with the increasing market demands but I miss the old 99."
"The prices nowadays could be anything that usually ends with 99 but this is still one of my favorite stores. There's almost always something unusual and unexpected to find that makes it fun. Best to know or test products before "going big" though. Pro tip: Download the app. Prices are sometimes not posted or confusing. You can usually check by scanning the barcode with the app."
