"We have been ordering takeout from this place since the start of the pandemic and have always enjoyed their food. We finally made a trip down to dine in. We were seated at the chef table since we did not have a reservation. We ordered the fried oyster, gumbo, and shrimp étouffée. Enjoyed all three dishes. The pickle really added a dimension with the fried oyster dish. The gumbo had a nutty flavor to it that made it uniquely savory. The shrimp étouffée sauce was very flavorful, and yet, not overly heavy. The place itself has a uniquely New Orlean feel to it. We will definitely be back!"

"Wow! Excellent spot. The spicy shrimp was, possibly, the best shrimp dish I have ever had. The jambalaya was spicy and spectacular with everything prepared just perfectly. I highly recommend and will be returning again soon."

"Very small, intimate and private restaurant with very good service. Due to the size may need a reservation to get in. We got the Shrimp Etouffe, the Catfish and the Peach and Blueberry Pie for dessert. Well presented and rounded dishes, nothing to blow up our minds but pretty good."
