"I stopped by here on the way to Topanga Village because I wanted to see if this Dollar Tree location had the Hasbro Watermelon gummies. I found parking fine near the front when I came on a Saturday afternoon. When I walked inside, they had a line at checkout since there was only 1 worker. I went to the candy aisle and found where they kept the Hasbro brand Candies but they didn't have the watermelon gummies. Since I already came here, I just got some air head taffy and nerds gummies. I got in the line at the only checkout station but right when I was about to pay, they finally open the second cashier station."
"HIRE MORE PEOPLE You need to hire more cashiers to work the checkout lines. A store can't just have four different checkout stands, and one kid working as fast as humanly possible, with a line going into the aisles. That's not right."
"I was there earlier and the new manager named Ruben was rude and unprofessional. He was not only rude to me but he was rude to his cashier because she called for backup because she had over 20 people waiting in line and she was going as fast as she could and he wouldn’t come and she called 5 to 6 times and after about 15 minutes he came and told the cashier that he heard her the first time and not to ask more than once even tho he ignored her and never came. He was rude and criticized her in front of everyone and when a women stood up for her and corrected his behavior towards her he told her “ if you don’t like the way I manage u can get a job at this store and show me how it’s done” RIDICULOUS I was stunned that he even said that to her. This guy should NOT be working for a customer service job let alone manage one! He also continued to tell the employee that it’s all her fault and she needs to do better but in truth HE NEEDS TO BE FIRED! I will no longer come to this store because if I heard him talk to my women like that he would no longer be with us u could say. Dollar tree is just hiring unstable people to manage their locations and I am sorry for the employees that suffer from this. If I was them I would sue."
"I used to love coming here. This was a great store with a wide variety of products but has gone downhill. I definitely don't feel like coming back after my most recent visit. Lots of items were broken or open, and many were overpriced compared to other shops I had seen the same things at. The cashier kept scanning single items twice and I had to point it out a few times to avoid getting overcharged. Another employee (a woman) started laughing and making loud comments to the cashier in Spanish about how "excessive" all the things I was buying were and other unnecessary remarks. This surprised me because 1. What I'm buying or the amount is none of her business and 2. Do you want me to spend my money here or not? lol I should have left my entire cart there and walked out as soon as she said those things, but I actually needed to buy them. She also unfortunately made the big mistake of assuming that I don't understand/speak Spanish (it's my first language.) It's strange and rude to talk about customers so openly like that. Get a clue or maybe invest in some customer service training. It made me uncomfortable so I'm going to shop at places where the employees are actually respectful and don't make shady comments!"
