"T. J. MAX is one, of a 4,700 international chain of "off-price," department stores, that offer a surprisingly large selection of clothing, shoes, travel accessories, household goods, pet supplies, and speciality foods. Everything is clearly priced, some at significant discount. Two elevators, carry you to the second floor sales area. They are located near the rear of the store in front of the luggage display. The second floor contains a selection of men's goods, household items, and a heavily discounted selection of bottled, canned and dried foods. The merchandise is what you might find at a high-end foodies hangout, at a more reasonable price. Except for the balcony, located between the two floors, everything is wheelchair accessible. The checkout line moves slowly. While you're waiting, candy and impulse goods line the queue. One and a half hours of parking is free in the underground garage. It's $3 for the next 90 minutes. Escalators and elevators, from the garage, carry you to the T.J Maxx entrance. Shopping carts can be left in the garage. Two free, level 2, electric charging stations are along the north wall near the elevators."
"T.J. Maxx always has adorable items at affordable prices, which is why I adore them. But the employees that are there looked understaffed; they worked slowly, showed signs of distraction, didn't engage much with the clients they were serving, and generally gave off the impression that they didn't want to work. I really appreciate the business, but I've had a terrible experience with the employees, and I think more employees should be hired for this location. Having more employees would help with customer service as well as maybe boost the spirits of the current workforce."
"With my extensive travel, I love seeking out TJ Maxx in different states. Even during the heavy days of covid, at their giant store at the outlet mall in MD, they still "ran a good show," and had killer jewelry sales. I have a beautiful blue topaz and moonstone necklace I bought in 2020 that still looks fabulous. Whether east coast, west coast or in-between, I still find fabulous bargains! Photo: when I was in my 20's, ya better believe I would've worn this to nightclubs!"
"So I shop a lot at T.J maxx stores and when I say a lot! But this ape branch has this one lady working at the jewelry department and eve single time you want to buy from her she makes your experience such a bad one! She is rude and unpleasant each time she is here! I saw a necklace I liked and again a buy so much jewelry from them and many other things. I wanted to buy it it's similar to like other necklaces I buy from them on a weekly base, she lost the tag and would not sell it to me for 20 minutes I waited, she didn't want to call other branches to get a price or even sell it to me at a price it should cost since I buy a lot of that specific brand line of necklaces and I even showed her. She is rude unpleasant and unprofessional to buy from always being "small headed" people like that make u loss sales and make you Los clients! It isn't my fa they had lost the tag and put it in display which is also illegal by low for consumers (just a heads up!) District manger should visit this store cause they are losing sales thanks to people like her. P.s! just this week I been to many of their locations and shop at least 16 times! If not more! District manger is more then welcome to reach out to me I left my number to this store manger and I'll show you how much I shop at T.j max stores so you see and understand how frustrating it is to waist your time coming to this location and always getting bad attitude from this sales lady! Definitely lost me as a client at this location! Because of this rude sales lady!"
"Ill start with the good and go to the bad. Place is fairly clean and organized to some extent minus the beautify section over loaded hard to find what your looking for you would have to move products around. most of the time you will find what you need while their inventory usually gets fully stacked. Employees are friendly and be expected to be asked to open a TJMAX credit card no matter how many times you come even if you say you have bad credit they will still say you should try. They are always shortage of employees so don't expect much assistance while shopping inside the store. Registers can always use more employees here. The biggest problem aside from understaffed at registers they DO NOT HAVE a return line like many department stores such as ross etc. even if you want to return you would have to get in the big long line. Now, I usually recommend best time to shop and return etc. but from all the times I came here it was also the same long long line. Its not a bad store to shop if you have plenty of time on your hands just be sure you buy exactly what you need. Avrg wait time in line 25-45 minutes and could take longer on weekends. I was retuning a shirt to buy a laundry basket. With my luck i lost the price tag on basket so had to wait another 15 minutes"
