Pottery Barn

"My wife has been in here several times to purchase items for a remodel. We’re working with a designer, and she mentions that at the register upon checking out and has the code and contact info ready. Every single time, without fail, she is harassed about validity of working with a designer. Today, the employee did the same and even added “people stand behind you and try to say they’re on the same account” to make an excuse why he was asking her so many questions about the designer. Umm, no they don’t. At least not to a point where it is a serious issue. Also, there was no one behind her today. He also demanded to take her phone to see the info himself. It doesn’t happen at other Pottery Barns, just this one. So it’s not a company policy. Just poor employees. Not sure if it’s because my wife has a slight accent, but something to consider."
