"I just left the self checkout at about 1005 and the checkout clerk was very condenscending and talked down to me like I was an idiot. She frowned at me the whole time, even though I was polite. Truth be told, I wish they had a " No Stars" category."

"I work right next door. I only come here during my lunch or when I’m off work so I can grab something quick to eat. I normally always go to self-checkout unless I’m given no other option, like in the early mornings, and just the other day I went to grab something to eat and as usual I went to self-checkout. I always thought the people I’ve encountered the few times I’ve been there were really nice. But that day, I had just gotten off work, tired. It was pretty busy, checkout line was long and the self-checkout was pretty occupied too. I didn’t mind waiting though. But this elderly white male, somewhat bald, some white/grey hair on the sides working the self-check out waves me down. I assumed to check me out at the computer. I was going to offer the person behind me to go ahead because I didn’t mind waiting for a self-checkout to free up. Before I could though, someone else was already wrapping up so I take it upon myself to use the self-checkout. As I approach the machine he goes, “You do know I was waving you over, yes you. You didn’t see me? Waving you over so I could check you out? That’s okay you’re here now so.” He said all of this very rudely, very bad mannered too. Look, I’m very empathetic to those that deal with the public. But as someone who also deals with the public, that just wasn’t the way to go about that situation and since then I’ve tried my best to go there minimally now."
