"Horrible experience! I have been a member of Suntan City since Raley's Tanning Salon on Maynardville Highway in Halls closed around 2010. When Suntan City took over all of Raley's clients, I was placed on the lowest level UV package and have remained there ever since. Over the years I would purchase "points" to use to upgrade to a higher level UV tanning bed and eventually to use the spray tan. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, I visited the Powell location. After being assigned the room to receive my spray tan, the ASD (Assistant Salon Director) called me on the room phone to inform me that I would have to pay for the spray tan. I informed the ASD that I was using my "points". After some discussion, the ASD informed me that unless I paid I wasn't going to get a spray tan. She also stated that the former manager of the Fountain City location, who is now the District/area Supervisor, "should know better" than allow me to use points for spray tanning when they are for UV tanning only. I had a horrible day at work that day and was hoping for a relaxing time at the tanning salon. Instead, I was treated like I was unaware of the guidelines of purchasing "points" for UV vs. spray tan. If the ASD had taken the time to look at my purchase history she would have seen that I have used points every time I have spray tanned for years. As I left the salon, the ASD was smirking and laughing with her co-workers. The next evening I visited the Fountain City location. My account has the correct purchased "points" for UV tanning and spray tanning. A Suntan City Member of 14+ years should be treated with respect and kindness."

"I take my daughter to tan here and the girls have always been nice but Lauren (or Laura) can’t remember was full of information on lotions and beds unfortunately not in the position to buy any but she knew her stuff and made tonight’s visit way different than others and had answers to our questions about my daughters membership. She is from Maryville store she said but will be great at this one."
