"Sunday afternoon I head to the pharmacy to pick up my meds for the week. It took the pharmacist a few minutes to get to the drive thru window although there was no one inside. In comes Ian. I give him my name ( spelling the last name) and my birthday. He has one prescription ready. He asked was I expecting more I said yes everything but the _____. He said well what do you need. I was like I don’t know the name of them. Everything but the _____. I get frustrated because for sure he was being EXTRA RUDE. I told him I’d just wait. So, I go into the store, head to the pharmacy to let Ian know he didn’t have to be so rude. I’m just trying to pick up meds I don’t even want to take. Why was he so rude? I get it, nobody wants to work on a Sunday. I really wanted to show him grace today but he was beyond RUDE. I can’t stress enough how RUDE he was to a paying customer. I’m going to help Ian out and take my meds to a different pharmacy. I know this review will probably be over looked. But how I was treaded today at 12:36 by Ian at the 5006 Walgreens Pharmacy on Old Hickory was UNACCEPTABLE. #DontTrustIan #HesRudeToThePublic #WhoRaisedYou"
"Last Friday I had meds prescribed and prepared at this location for a total knee replacement. I was unaware that my meds were ready on That same day. They did not call me. They did not text me. I should have called, but in these big corporate pharmaceutical organizations you only talk to a robot these days. I believed that I would need to pick up my post-op meds after the surgery (post-op). Now I am without medication and pain management on a knee replacement. The surgery center staff had to wait for my wife to return in an attempt to get my prescriptions. Not possible, they are closed. Now I’m understanding why this particular Walgreens has a 2.9 Google score."
"This used to be a reliable location, but the service--particularly the quality of pharmacy service--has fallen steadily during the past year. The biggest shortcoming now is the restrictive pharmacy hours, closing now at 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and open neither Saturday, nor Sunday. I'm not sure whether this is a corporate failing or a failing of store or pharmacy management, but there's nothing that says more about a lack of commitment to customer service than closing down during the time most people need access. Like some others, I'd also witnessed a poor attitude on the part of at least one pharmacy tech in the past but had only been a direct recipient of her obvious burnout once. Probably needless to say, I first moved my prescriptions to another, less convenient Walgreens and have since had them redirected to another chain. My overall impression is that Walgreens, as a chain, is struggling and that it's time to find another pharmacy--at least until Walgreens gets its act together."
"Terrible pharmacy. The pharmacy technicians are short and rude. They like to close the lane when you are standing in it. Happened to me twice in one trip. I especially had a bad experience with the tech named Grace... rude to me and the 3 people in front of me... maybe she doesn’t do well when she is a bit busy... idk but that doesn’t seem to be a good enough excuse to be rude. As I was leaving, I asked her if she had a place she could throw away the envelope my prescription was in (don’t think that that is too much to ask) and she scoffed and acted like it was an incredible inconvenience. Walgreens - I think you could do better."
