"Wonderful spot in a wonderful town (shhh... don't tell anyone about Murphys CA). Grounds consistently serves fresh, tasty, well-prepared California cuisine at good prices. I especially enjoyed the crab cakes appetizer (massive and chock-full of actual crab) and their burgers are on-point too. Great locally focused wine list and very classy cocktails. Their sister restaurant, Firewood, dishes out more casual fare and our kids love the pizza there."

"Had another great meal, the host was very kind in suggesting to us where to park. Steak was very well seasoned, baked potato was huge,and key lime pie was so tart and delicious. Service was great. We will be back."

"Came recommended by locals... however the battle with the flies takes away from the atmosphere. A couple people including us thought about sitting outside and then came back in due to the amount of flies. Inside the battle still persists. The Eggs Benedict is mediocre, Due to the overpoached egg and salty ham. The hollandaise sauce is very good. The French toast is solid 9, minus 1 for no whip or fruit. You have to order fruit cup on the side."

"This is my favorite place to eat in Murphys. Their Brussel sprouts are the best I’ve ever had. All their dinner plates have generous portions and their bread and butter before dinner is great. Their atmosphere is nice and cozy inside and there is an option to sit outside as well. The bartender also makes delicious drink. 10/10"

"Our first time trying out Grounds and absolutely loved it. From the food to the service. We sat at the bar and Braden took care of us. All the staff were very accommodating towards all the customers. We will definitely be back. Thank you Braden for taking care of us."
