"I'm not vegan and love this place. I go about once a week and it's consistently great! I usually get the Fala Bowl, which is kind of a taco salad, the chopped up falafel inside tastes very much like ground taco meat and doesn't leave you feeling heavy or greasy. The avocado and lime with tahini is so smooth. I just tried the tacos plate, was equally good, and if you're hungry, even more filling since there are tortillas and chips on the side. The "Fala Me To" items are great too! Still need to try the sandwhiches, they look really good. Also, being at the Public Market, I can be free to eat there while my kid goes 100% meat crazy someplace else."
"Little bit pricey for what we got, but this is definitely healthy vegan place to eat. No fake meat. All made of falafel and so on."
"This place was amazing ! Food was absolutely delicious—probably the best vegan takeaway food we had on our entire trip. Sooo many good options to choose from. Service was great and they have excellent range of kombucha."
"Fala Bar is a great stopping place to grab a bite to eat, especially if you're with a group of people who aren't all vegan. They're set up in a shared space with about half a dozen other food options (and a couple bars) and are walking distance to a handful of cool spots in Santa Barbara, making it perfect for those visiting the area and looking for a quick lunch. The food was good, they had a decent amount of unique Mediterranean / falafel inspired options, and their chili sauce actually had some spice to it which was nice. While I enjoyed my meal and was full after, the $20+ after tax and tip per person was a little steep for what we got. Ultimately, I'll probably be back here again, but I won't be making any long distance special trips just for it."
"I always love going to 100% vegan places. The portions here are quite large, but this is rather welcome as it's a tad pricey for what it is. I enjoyed the falafel pita and their chips and guac are quite good (though again, rather expensive at $10). All in all a nice option downtown if you're vegan or just want to eat in a way that's better for your health and our planet and its animals"
