Reviews
"Standard taste, the bread was done right and the meat was as expected. The quantity of meat was decent. The service was quick as well."
"The food its really good, but the attitude of the employees is not good at all, it is a pity that they do not think about customer service, they must be friendly and speak loud and clear, very bad service.I say this for the man, a woman had treated me very well."
"Worst customer service ever! Went on Saturday night to Eastridge mall to shop. I ordered two Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. One sandwich looked beautiful, the other looked like it was a vegetarian cheesesteak sandwich. The sandwich had lots of lettuce, tomato, onions, and mushrooms, but only 3 very small scraps of meat. I showed this to Sarah, the person who had prepared the sandwich and explained that somehow, there was not enough meat put into the sandwich. She was very busy at the time, as the line was roughly 20 people deep. I understand her stress, but when she finally paid attention to what I was actually saying, she gave me a disgusted look then began to speak to her co-worker, (I could only guess, in Hindi) A bit rude in itself), and came back to me saying that there was a standard portion of meat put on the sandwiches. I showed her my sandwich, and moved the lettuce and veggies around, and picked out a couple of small pieces of meat... I guess this wasn't good enough. She once again said that there was nothing she could do. I became frustrated and showed the other customers in line, right behind me, the paltry (Meat-less) sandwich, and they agreed that there was barely any meat in one, compared to the other that was given to me. Once again, I state, both the same size sandwich! She rolled her eyes at me for getting the other people in line to agree with me. Instead of adding a few pieces of meat to the sandwich, she stood her ground and said that she could not do anything for me. I immediately asked for a refund. She rolled her eyes again, and once again in her native language (Hindi?), spoke to her co-worker, who gave me a refund. As the cashier handed me the money, she apologized for my treatment by her co-worker "Sarah" She said that they were extremely busy. (The people in the line raised their voices to her, saying that Sarah was wrong). Side-note: I noticed that hey had the big line because all of the prepared meet, both chicken and steak, had run out at the front frying area, and, of what I could see of the Kitchen area through the widow/ opening behind the front area, the chefs in the back looked like they were trying to cook more meats. Maybe this was the real reason they were skimping on the meat? Wow! Throwing out a sandwich, to her, was preferable than making a good business decision. Sarah totally was in the wrong! She made a bad situation worse. By just admitting she had made a mistake, this all could have been avoided. Charley’s Philly Steaks is going to lose allot of customers because of their employee’s bad decisions, like Sarah’s. Too bad, I really liked their Philly cheesesteaks, even though a bit overpriced as a meal combo. Never again... I will NEVER go back to Charley’s and recommend that we all teach them a lesson and never return. Maybe Sarah will get the hint. I am not happy about wasting my time writing this review, but right is right."
"Their advertised price for a value meal is misleading. What they imply as a value meal is really just a single sandwich. Fries and a drink (much) extra. One person can easily spend 12 bucks or more. For fast food... quite silly to pay that."
"Had plastic in my food. Had a buffalo chicken sub."
