"It’s pretty good in my opinion but not super great. Mainly because it’s clear the THAI B.B.Q CHICKEN was pre cooked and reheated. Parts of the chicken were cold. Other users were overcooked and dry. The papaya salad was good but the sticky rice tasted like regular rice. Doesn’t that usually have coconut or simmering? However, the GOONG GA BAWG was very good! It’s like a shrimp rolled up in an egg roll skin. Lastly, the Penang curry was pretty good."

"Chanced upon this hole in the wall kind of restaurant across from SJSU campus, craving for some good Thai food. We ordered Thai Iced Tea, Fried Chicken over Fried Rice, Vegetarian Egg Rolls and the Lamb Curry Speciality all for $59, including a $2 extra for using Amex credit card. Lots of piping hot food, well plated and served by a sweet hostess. If not for the inside run down decor, this restaurant is worth every penny. Like they say, don’t judge a book by it’s cover…food here tastes pretty awesome if you come in hungry!"

"A small Thai take-away/restaurant near SJSU. The staff are very friendly and took my order quickly. I had Chicken Satay to start followed by the Beef Massaman set. The food was served in around 10/15 minutes whilst I had a beer at the table. The Satay was tasty, but a little dry/tough. The beef was similar, but the sauce was great. They served it with white sticky rice and Roti, which I found a little odd being an Indian bread - but they were cooked to perfection and the best part of the meal! Flaky and buttery, just like they should be!"

"Came here for lunch on Friday, 5/19/23. The place was small for mostly for take-out. There were few tables for sit in also, and no restroom for guests. We (3 adults) were the only ones that ate there during lunch hour. Here are my ratings for each dish that we ordered. 1/Papaya salad(Thai style): good. Sweet, sour dressing with crunchy papaya and few raw green beans. However, they used lemon juice instead of lime juice. 2/ Pak Ke Mao with chicken: just ok. The meat was tender but the dish was lack of flavor not like other Thai restaurants in SJ and also in Bangkok 3/ Chicken and Shrimps stir-fried with mango and bell peppers: just so so. This dish did not have much flavor. It was kind of bland. They brough out the sticky rice for this dish in a foil, not in a little bamboo basket as I was expected. Few minutes later, the sticky rice was cold and dried. We waited about 20 minutes to get our food. Our bill was a little over $40 dollars Overall, our lunch had nothing to wow about. One time is enough."

"A small and friendly place to satisfy your craving for Thai food. Its menu is big enough to have different choices (besides the popular ones) and affordable prices (especially right now). Today, for lunch, I had: - BBQ Honey Pork Specialty (served with sticky rice, sweet sauce, and fresh salad) - Pad Kee Mao (pan-fried flat noodles with cabbage, carrots, white onion, bell pepper, broccoli, bamboo shoot, chili, and sweet basil). Side note: I asked for very spicy, and to be honest, it was the only thing that disappointed me. It was the first time I had gone to a Thai place, and the highest spicy level was not enough. Give this place a try if you are in the area, not looking for a fancy place, and on a budget."
