"A relatively new location for another Amber Indian restaurant. This one specializes in catering but also provides nice on-site dining. The food selection is really good with a lot of vegetarian choices. The service is very friendly. The chef even came out after our dinner to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Warmly recommended!"
"If I can do half a star, I would. When me and my husband first got in, we thought It was like a business. It was super empty. Super unprofessional, loved the butter chicken, definitely was not worth the price,it was very small portion didn’t come with any sides and it seemed like it was an 8 ounce dish. The bone in goat rice was definitely More bone than goat. The service was also unprofessional."
"Godfrey Fernandez was the manager running the show. Spoke to us very nicely and recommended some good dishes. I think this Amber stands out from the rest in the Bay Area. Garlic Naan, butter chicken and Rogan gosh were the dishes we ordered and I can’t say which was the best. Loved them all. Butter chicken is not sweet, so to the Indian audience do try it!!!!"
"Went here with a friend. Three of the four dishes ordered were good, one was a little underwhelming. Atmosphere of the place surprised me, fairly nice inside, outside looks like any other industrial joint in Milpitas. A little pricey for what you get. Went for lunch, 3 people, 4 dishes a couple of drinks, a little over $100."
"It was not at all a good experience visiting this new location for the first time. Its very different compared to the Santana Row branch. The restaurant has been given a facelift since I visited this place last time. The decor is decent and can accommodate more than 50 customers at a time. We ordered gobi manchurian and dhania murg as appetizers followed by bhindi masala and mutton Rogan Josh as part of main course. The dhania murg and garlic naan were the only good stuff out of all dishes we ordered. The chicken was juicy and well cooked. The gobi manchurian did not use the right kind of sauce, the gobis were not at all crispy. It was more like a gobi bell pepper sabzi cooked with tomato ketchup. The bhindi dish had a few "not so tender" pieces. It definitely did not do justice to a 20$ bhindi dish. The pudina paratha was too thick. I do not plan to go to this place again."
