"Came here for dinner with my friend. We got seated right away by a kind lady. The place was kind of empty which was good. Me and my friend decided to share a soup and an entre. We got the noodle soup and it was yummy but on the heavier side compared to Tom kha if you like that consistency. Additionally we also got the mixed veg with chicken dish and that was well sauted and nicely done. We didn’t get anything to drink but may be next time. Overall good experience and glad to have visited after hearing about this place so much"
"I had Burmese fried rice, which has sausage in it, which is awesome. My dining companion had the tea leaf salad which was surprising. The chili garlic sauce is fantastic."
"Nice little place in Willow Glen on Willow Street. Across the street is a Bask and Robbins as a Landmark. Food was definitely fresh and tasty. Did not go for the spicy Thai route, more savory and sweet dishes ordered. Loved the service here. Very attentive."
"We stumbled along this place by distance and the reviews. We were about to fly out and wanted some good Asian food. The pics and reviews don't do this place justice! I eat out a LOT and this is my new favorite spot. I can honestly say the best Chinese food I've had. The service was amazing. I can't believe the place isn't packed. Their decor is cute and restrooms are clean. We started with the crispy tofu. I am normally not a fan of it but my boyfriend wanted to try it and I'm so glad he did. It was crunchy and the sauce that accompanied it was tasty. We shared the Kung pao and general tso and there was so many umami moments. We also had jasmine tea and that was herby and delicious. The combination fried rice was not an after thought. I could have just eaten that and been great. They go out of their way to make sure everything tastes so good and it shows. I can't say enough good things about them. I can't wait to visit San Jose again. I just wish San Antonio wasn't so far away."
"It’s Chinese and Burmese cuisine with Thai influence. It had nice seating inside and the plates were so pretty, definitely added to the nice ambiance. Also hide nice flowers outside. They had plenty of vegetarian options, all of which were delicious. The samosas were good when dipped into the sweet and sour sauce. I ordered sweet and sour tofu; the tofu had a nice crunch and this dish usually comes with fish or meat so I’m glad I was able to try it after so many years of earring veggie. The pad Thai is a must! You can customize and substitute to fit dietary needs such as vegetarian or vegan. Eggplant with garlic sauce, pad kee-mao, Tom kha soup (veggie stock) and mango sticky rice were also delicious. I don’t eat meat, but family members enjoyed the firecracker chicken. Great options overall."
