"Food was well seasoned. My 1st time, I will go back for another go around for sure. You service yourself, so no waitress, you go up to the counter to order & pick up. A lot of ppl go there to watch the hockey game, which is cool. They have an outside that looks cool when the weather permits. Small inside, so if rain/cold it could get cramped."

"F A N T A S T I C! Great vibe - excellent service = (thanks Kennedy and staff), and delicious food! Friendly, engaging patrons = We were in San Jose to see the Sharks vs the Kraken. Even wearing opposing team jerseys, we were welcomed and treated like friends. We opted to dine in their heated outdoor patio area. What a delightful option especially since we don’t experience this amazing weather where we reside! The food was delicious and plentiful! Mr. Wonderful had the catfish Po’Boy and it was massive. I had a house salad and a cup of red beans and rice - the servings, also generous. *John - Thanks for recommending the Poor House Bistro! You were 100% spot on! We’ll definitely be back. "I'm so happy to see this little gem open up again! It was a very long wait, but the new location is amazing. It is now closer to other fun establishments, and walking distance to the Arena.
