"This is one of the better fresh sushi places! Tuna, Salmon, Hamachi are all very good and fresh! A bit expensive especially when I just return from Tokyo! Their fried items are average"
"Wow, easily some of the most delicious sushi I've ever had, and I go out for sushi at least once a week. I got the 9 piece Nigiri chef's choice and loved the quality and richness. Generous portions of fish, too!"
"I'm happy to see a new Amami location in the Bay Area! Compared to the Cupertino one, the interior is aesthetic and the restaurant is overall much more clean. We came here on a Tuesday evening and the staff were quick and helpful. We ordered our usual - the Omakase (10 piece nigiri). Though the quality of the fish wasn't identical to the Cupertino location, the fish was still pretty good and they were generous with the cuts. My favorites were the seared Norwegian salmon belly and sea bream. Definitely a solid place to get affordable sushi in the area!"
"Generally just so so. Sashimi's quality was not comparable with other restaurants. Sushi was okay, with too much rice. The only good one was agedashi tofu. The service is good and quick. Plates also look nice."
"We went on weekday, and booked the table, so no lines. The sushi quality is good, I also think the cutting skills of this sushi chef is really good. The thickness of each sushi are the same. The oyster is from Japan, they are smaller. If you like the US size, you don’t need to order this. *my visit was 2 weeks ago"
