"Ordered the sausage combo with fries and slaw but was overcharged and then they didn't give me fries. Maybe they thought I was ordering it ala carte? Got it all sorted in the end but paid a bit extra I guess. Food was good."

"I have been wanting to try this place for months, google maps said noon was as busy as it gets, normally that's enough for me to find a less busy day to try it but today I rolled the dice. I got here and it wasn't too busy, I let the staff know it was my first time here, I didn't feel rushed to order. I got the salad with brisket, jalapeno poppers and hush puppies. Everything was so great I plan on coming back and trying everything from the menu. Food came out quick and the staff was attentive."

"Very crispy house made potato chips, portion in photo were much more. Hush puppies were full of flavor on their own and with the honey butter just elevated the taste buds. Jackfruit, elottes were tasty too. Husband enjoyed his brisket with bbq sauce."

"Highly recommend! Friendly atmosphere and food is delicious! I ordered the one 1x1 meal of 3 ribs with fries. It came with bread (deliciously warm and toasted!). The meat was so tender that it was falling of the bone. You can tell it was made by someone who really knows how to cook a really good BBQ. Awesome service! Collin is a great guy, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu options. For drinks, they have some beer options and soda, I had the Angry Orchard beer. For dessert, I had a warm slice of apple pie that came with two scoops of ice cream which perfectly balanced it. I’m definitely coming back!"

"A new gem comes to the Bay Area! The food was excellent, real deal southern BBQ. The customer service is what makes it special. Collin, was so nice! He told us about his experience as a Texas grill master and it shows! The chopped brisket on the Mac Plater was juicy and had a delicious smoked flavor, not to mention how creamy and cheesy the Mac and cheese was. If you want good southern food in the Bay Area then you have to try this restaurant."
