"Good hot pot place. We went for the $75 combo which has option of choosing 2 meats, 2 soups, 2 sides and noodles. Tom yum thai style soup was very tasty. For meat we took prime agnus flat iron. Meat was juicy and blended well with the soup. The combo also comes with 1 veggies tray with almost everything in it. We did not find option for crabs here. And also fish eggs were alright. I will definitely visit again."
"My boyfriend and I came here during lunch time and got the Meat Lover’s Combo. For the soup base, we opted for the Miso Soup and the Sichuan Spicy Soup base. For the meats, we got the American Wagyu Beef Toro, Australian Wagyu Chuck Eye, and the Prime Black Angus Short Ribs. The meat quality here is really good! Probably one of the best meat quality in a hot pot spot that I’ve experienced. The combo has plenty of meat and is enough to make both of us super stuffed. Soup base for the miso was a bit sweet and tastes like how miso soup shops taste like. The Sichuan Spicy Soup was really good and you can really feel the numbing spice from eating out of that soup base. When you sit down, you scan a QR code and order it on your phone. The servers will then bring out your items. They also have a sauce bar for you to create your own sauce. This is a good casual spot to eat with friends or even to eat by yourself."
"There are lots of hot pot places in the Bay Area that specialize in different things. I like Mumu for its good quality of meat. Their menu is simple. Wagyu is juicy and soft. My recent favorite broth is Tom yum, the flavor is just right and comforting when you eat the veggie and meat from the broth."
"We had dinner at Mumu Hotpot recently, and it was a really good experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating even thought we walked in almost at the time of closing. The best thing was of course, the hotpot itself. The selection of items in the menu was impressive, with a variety of fresh vegetables, meats, and seafood to choose from. They also give wagyu with Mumu Combo which is about $68(recommended for 2) at the time of writing this. The broth i got was butter spicy(spiciest). It was rich and flavorful, and there were about 6 types including vegan broth. Everything was fresh, and you could taste the difference in every bite. The dipping sauces station was great with multiple options, allowing me to make my own sauces, and tailor the flavors to my preference. The service was very good, the waiter explained which items were the best and what everyone gets and what gives us the most value. The attentive staff were constantly checking if we needed anything else. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of the experience. Only thing i found missing was the ice cream station at the end of the meal like haidilao/happy lamb offers. Whether you’re a hotpot enthusiast or trying it for the first time, I highly recommend this restaurant. I can’t wait to return and enjoy the hotpot again."
"Good hot pot restaurant with decent quality food. The restaurant is medium size, so it’s pretty packed during meal time. We waited for 20 minutes and we already came before 6pm. Also, if you come in groups, they won’t allow you in if all of your group members are not present. The meat was in good quality, as well as the vegetables and noodles. The broth was pretty decent, not outstanding but not bad, either. They have fair price combos, too. They have a sauce bar near the entrance. Other people said they also have fruits at the sauce bar, but I didn’t see any when I came."
