Reviews of La Ciccia
"It not only offers exceptional food but also provides a lovely, cozy environment that makes it a standout dining destination. Whether you're a local looking for a hidden gem or a visitor wanting an authentic taste of Italy, this restaurant is a must-try."
"Top quality flavor, pasta with a wonderful bounce. Seafood excellent. Welcoming atmosphere, authentic taste, wine list of varietals hard-to-find outside of Sardinia. A San Francisco gem."
"I was referred to this place by a friend. It’s so hard to make a reservation, so we decided to walk in and lucky us, we got bar seating. The food is absolutely amazing with generous portion. I enjoyed the calamari the most with its tenderness, and olive oil aroma. Even though this place is known for seafood, it’s seared lamb definitely goes beyond expectation as well. Will come back!"
"Very tasty food, but I expected more at the price point. The Baby Octopus Stew was spectacular. Very tender, just spicy enough, and incredibly rich. The calamari was refreshingly vibrant. The Chocolate Panna Cotta was also well executed. Our two mains were somewhat underwhelming. The sea urchin pasta was a bit too briny for my liking, and the sauce wasn't rich enough to counteract that. The lamb was well-cooked, but the seasoning left something to be desired. Overall, I'd come back! But I'd try some different mains, since I can definitely see the potential here."
