Reviews
"Chicken was fried with too much oil!!! we had to return it. 20 mins late we got the same over fried chicken. Bad experience! The chicken sandwich and tender were a touch better. Would not recommend the fried leg and thigh."
"Definitely a unique place. I was here on a Tuesday, when the bowling alley is closed, so other than people coming in for pickup it was pretty quiet. There are two small tables for dining in, which I did. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich with level 2 heat (first date). The sandwich is huge. The heat was manageable, thankfully, because some reviews sounded a little daunting. I have to say I’m glad I tried it and the sandwich was good, but just ok and not spectacular. I also had pasta salad (just ok as well). I wanted to give this place a five star review, because the idea is solid, but just couldn’t."
"Love Burn is ranked #3 on my spots in the bay area to get a spicy chicken sandwich $15. It took about 10 minutes for them to create my spicy chicken sandwich. The whole iPad ordering system is bugged. First, the menu didn't have the garlic fries that I wanted. Second, the chip reader on their thingamajig didn't work. I had to tap it instead. The sandwich tasted fine with fresh ingredients. The coleslaw started falling out while I tried to eat it at a table, at the bar on the side. That's a good thing when they put too much stuff in a sandwich. Who doesn't love a messy sandwich? Good job staff at Love Burn."
"Firstly, the chicken sandwich was delicious. Flavor wise: 8.9/10. Crunchy crust, juicy chicken, coleslaw was great, hot ranch was good too. But I give it 3 stars because it's too damn hot. I can handle spice, really well typically. But we ordered the level 1 thinking it'd be a mild kick. I sweat through my shirt and my wife only took a couple bites. I'd like to think they accidentally gave us a hotter level. I really would love to come back because the taste of the sandwich was great. But the heat made it very hard to enjoy."
"Flavor is amazing but wow I ordered level 2 and let me tell you. That was the spiciest chicken sandwich I have ever had. I’m not sure if they accidentally gave me a level 3 or my spice tolerance has gone down and I never noticed. Even though the spice was making me sweat from my head it still kept me there eating it. The flavor is just so good you can’t stop eating it. That was an experience.. i had a Diet Coke that was helping with the spice. I also had the hot ranch which surprisingly was cooling my mouth down so I could continue eating this sandwich. The piece of chicken is also massive. It keeps you coming back for more with the flavor. I think the place is better for takeout. There wasn’t to much seating area unless you want to watch people bowl. The music is also really loud which normally I like but I think it was a tad bit to loud. Overall I would definitely come back but maybe I’ll go with level 1"
