Reviews of Me So Hungry Too
"This place was delicious! The employees were so nice. I got a chicken sandwich and it was bigger than my hand! Well worth the price. They recommended the fries and by god they were worth it. I ended up going back to order the churros. They are delicious!"
"Stopped in on a whim. Google search, the name caught our attention because we were so hungry after a long flight. Lol Very good burger, great customer service. Definitely recommend."
"Great handcrafted grass fed meat burger. Huge! Seasoned fries are amazing!!! Churros yum! Good eats for great price! Great customer service!! Highly recommend, if you’re staying in the San Francisco area or by the airport you’ve gotta try this hidden gem."
"First off I wanna say that I appreciate that everyone on staff was wearing a mask when taking orders AND making the food. Me So Hungry Too is located inside of Hometown Bowl in the same spot as Love Burn Chicken, so with these kinds of close quarters it is so important to take extra precautions and wear proper PPO for their sake and the customers’ sake. I also just so happened to show up when they were working on a huge catering order so they were extremely busy but I was still greeted promptly and very kindly by Jerry and a few other staff members! I wasn’t sure what to order so I asked Jerry to make me what he recommends and I believe he went with the Frankenstein cheeseburger. It came with bacon, a 100% grass-fed beef patty, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and he added in some of the Me So BBQ sauce which is their hoisin based bbq sauce. My first impression of the burger was “damn, this is HUGE.” Genuinely speaking, that burger could feed two people or one person for two meals. I split it with my friend and we were more than stuffed. I asked for my patty to be cooked medium rare and that thick, juicy patty was cooked to perfection. The bacon was super crispy which was the perfect texture to be added to that burger. It added a fun textural element aside from the smoky bacon flavor. I’ve never had anything like the Me So BBQ Sauce before and I gotta admit that I was obsessed with it. Usually BBQ sauce is a bit too sweet for me but this was made so well and it wasn’t covering up the flavor of the bacon or patty either. Personally, this is now my favorite burger spot in the Bay Area. Moving on to the fries… don’t even get me started. Those French fries were so addicting. You cannot go to Me So Hungry Too without getting 1 or 2 orders of their fries. They were fried perfectly and the inside was nice and fluffy while the outside was so delicately crispy that it was extremely satisfying to eat and hear the crunch. There was a garlic Parmesan topping on the fries that wasn’t overly salty and even if you stuffed some of the topping and the fries inside the burger it still worked so damn well together. We were eating on my car in front of someone’s house and they could hear us enjoying our food so thoroughly that they literally asked where we got our food and we watched them walk in and back out with their own burger and fries. I definitely recommend you to ask for a side of the Me So BBQ Sauce so you can dip your fries in it too! The last thing we had was the 5pc mini churros with a caramel dipping sauce. Usually when I have dessert with a meal I like to be able to save some of the savory or salty food to help me balance the sweet flavor in my mouth but the churros were already perfectly balanced on their own. Not too sweet and the perfect texture, a bit chewy on the inside but super crunchy on the outside. Definitely grab a burger and fries combo if you’re in the area!"
"Me So Hungry Too is located inside Hometown Bowl. There's some street parking in the residential area. I love the Count Burger and garlic parmesan fries. You get to choose how you want the patty cooked to your liking. The burger is so juicy and fresh and goes so well with the side of fries!"
