"Oh my goodness. It hasn’t even been 5 full minutes since I got my food and I NEEDED to leave a review. This place has amazing, fresh delicious meals, for a good price. On top of that, the staff is so sweet! Will definitely come back!"
"Our go-to korean spot if we craving. We always get their 2 meat combo. We've tried galbi, spicy chicken, bulgogi and they were all delicious! The banchan is always plentiful and at least 8 different varieties. The tofu soup is also great, especially on a colder day. We've only dined in and never had to wait. Parking can be difficult in the area but be patient and go into the residential area behind the restaurant for spots."
"You can tell the owners take great pride in their work and what they serve. They are hard working and put a lot of effort into making their food. Let's start with my daughter's bulgogi sandwich. The bread was perfectly crisp outside but soft inside, the size was generous and the amount of Bulkogi inside was equally generous. You can tell they have experienced hands in the kitchen, even the fries were very well prepared. Bento box was more of the same level of quality. They serve a veggie tempura which is delicious in itself. It's a haystack of julienned vegetables including sweet potato for a nice sweetness. Kimchee fried rice is delicious because their kimchee is delicious and that's the foundation of any kimchee based dish. Once again expertly prepared and a gentle m generous portion, at least two and a half meals for me. Lastly the Banchan, they are delicious, once again made by someone who really cares about what they're serving. Although the Bulkogi isn't cooked over charcoal or a broiler, it's still good. My father likes to eat here so that says a lot."
"honestly? my new manna. you want local? great price and huge portions of authentic, tasty korean food? let's gogogo to go go!!! the service is great and i can feel covid really hitting them really hard, even now. i've been here before back in 2017-8? and it was really packed. now they have one or two tables of people with majority of the restaurant being empty. this place is so underrated while manna is so overrated and i hate to make comparisons so i'll keep it brief in how gogo is better. -service and fairly short wait time. it's only one ahjumma/waitress who's so sweet and attentive and really gives the best hospitality. -the banchan/side dishes. they come immediately and the quality AND QUANTITY never went down pre and post covid. so many variety and you will feel comfortable asking for refills if you wanted. -quality = quantity. you pay for what you get and MORE. always anticipate rice with your dish. it's a lot of rice and a lot of meat. and the prices are sooo reasonable. it's honestly amazing how good the price is and how good the food is. like the chicken is not pictured here BUT THE REGULAR CHICKEN WAS SO TENDER AND SOFT. CHICKEN. WOW. -it's clean. enough said. spacious inside, no uninvited critters that dive head first into your meal. -THEY GIVE JELLO DESSERTS at the end of the meal. they're so sweet, i cant. my heart. i get why manna is more popular: sf natives who use to vouch for it (before its overall downfall in my eyes), location *coughgentrifierscough* but if you can, sf natives, it's time. either the crew or gogo or han il kwan for affordable korean food. seriously."
"The food are good, the portion is enough for 2 people to share and the price are high about 12-15. The 2 items meal cost about 13-14, though most of the meats cost additional (~$1-2). The place itself is quite small and the tables were quite sticky. They are open only from Wed-Sun, and closed Mon and Tues."
