"SO GOOD. They have smaller and larger plates, we were told to order ~2-3 small plates and 2 large plates for two people. We ended up having 4 smaller plates and a large one, plus dessert, which was a great amount of food. We liked everything we ate. Would recommend the honeynut squash, and the wild boar pate. The roasted pear Napoleon was also so good!! The service was also great, and the vibe is really nice for a date. We'll be back."
"Low-key and homey, even down to the dinner plates. Very fresh. Scallops were the highlight of the meal. Cod was fresh but somewhat bland. Tomatoe salad was refreshing. As for the chicken liver appetizer, I've had much better in many other places. Attentive service."
"OVERALL: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Drinks: 5/5 Service: 5/5 - Excellent Ambiance: 5/5 - Like a cozy French bistro. Only thing missing was a roadside table looking out. Have been meaning to try this place since it opened during Covid years, but somehow never made it there. Finally was able to make it for a birthday celebration of a very special friend. Everything was perfection. B Pattisserie is my favorite pastry shop so of course this had to be good. We had.. - Dungeness crab pavé, - Crisp cubes of fried potatoes with a crab mix on top. Heavenly bites - Eggplant with fresh ricotta - - California halibut sashimi - So light and fresh with fresh yellow tomatoes - Hen of the woods mushrooms "au poivre", egg yolk, crushed potato - Delish! - Melon Salad - Yummy! - Corn risotto - Creamy goodness - Seared scallops - Seabass Special - Softshell crabs with Padron peppers - Strawberry "Napoleon" with almond cream, apricots and blackberries - This was my favorite - Another dessert with a scrumptious pistachio cream and strawberries - The pistachio cream was to die for.. - Peach Crumble - Dark chocolate mousse, coffee crumble and chantilly 8-20-2023 - Dinner - Table for 6"
"Fantastic French food, great service, laid back yet elegant setting. Hard to ask for better than this. Love the variety in plates as well. The seasonal melon salad was the surprising star of our meal"
"Good, not great. The menu is exciting but the execution falls flat. A lot of the dishes were boring (e.g. almost tasteless California halibut sashimi and cold pork and duck terrine.) The stands outs we had were the short rib confit (delicious!) and Dungeness crab pavé (tasty, but wish there was more crab on it.) Desserts were the best part of the meal and we loved the chocolate mousse and Napoleon we split. The drinks were okay, although my dining partner wished his was stronger and my mocktail was largely flavorless and only about five sips worth. Our waitress was dour, never smiled once, never offered to get us more drinks when we were out and just generally seemed unenthused to be there. The ambiance was cute, but we were sat in the upstairs portion of the restaurant and found it so loud we had to yell throughout most of the meal. Overall, I would go back if someone asked me to but I wouldn’t go out of my way to do so, especially at the high price point."
