Reviews of Jinky's Cafe
"First time here and I consider myself lucky to have Tony (the manager). Dude takes pride in his job and is very enthusiastic about the food. He knows the entire menu front to back. #winning."
"Great spot. Staff is great. Drinks and food were delicious. Everything was correct, no issues. Yay! Overall smooth sailing but this spot always seems to have great everything!"
"Been saying for years I’m done with this place and I finally am. 20 bucks for a chicken sandwich with almost zero avocado. Burger was raw, and we get about 8 fries with the sandwich. Rip off. You should be ashamed of yourself for this. You are why restaurants fail and I’m never going back. Also, 27 ketchup packets and one ranch? Seriously. You’re going to be out of business because your product is terrible and it makes me sad how litttle the owner cares."
"3/24/21 - Have been coming here since they opened and I always liked the food and staff. Happy hour is pretty good with specials but the regular menu prices have gone way up over the years. I was surprised to find a 3.95% service charge on my bill for "increasing minimum wage". I understand that the cost of doing business can get out of control, but to simply pass off paying people a barely livable wage on me is unacceptable. Why don't you just raise prices 25 cents across the board to make up for it? I really want to keep coming here but not only is it now 15 bucks for a simple burger, I now have to cough up another 4% to keep you in business? Won't be coming back. Edit on 12/6/22. Had some friends in town who insisted we go in for late breakfast and to watch some football. I tried to warn them. The TV behind the bar is still not working. It's been well over a year now. The bartender poured 22 oz. beers with about 3 inches of foam. 3 beers and three breakfast burgers was $75.00 The burgers were good but almost $100 with the tip and you have staff that don't know how to pour drinks, your main TV doesn't work, and there seems to be zero management around making sure the place is running smoothly. I understand it's a difficult time for restaurants, but 100 bucks for what we get is just something I keep telling myself I should not be spending. The 3.95 service charge in "support of minimum wage" bothers me the most. Especially when the wage increase WAS A DOLLAR! 10/16/2022. Last time getting food here. $48 with a tip and this is the Turkey sandwich for $20. 5 tiny slices of Turkey and a pathetic amount of avocado. If you are the owner, I need you to explain this. You should be embarrassed to serve this for 20 dollars. We keep giving this place chance after chance but I don't know how anyone would expect us to come back when this is what we're constantly getting. I find it more bizarre that the management will comment on any and all 5 star reviews but when asked to answer to this, they're silent."
"Stopped into this bar/restaurant for a late lunch on Sunday and was not disappointed. The mango chutney and bleu cheese burger was as awesome as advertised. The portions of each dish I saw were generous. The staff was friendly and attentive and I especially loved the 80's jams they played throughout the meal. Will definitely visit again."
