Reviews of The Laundromat SF
"Would give 6 stars if I could! Amazing food and the sweetest restaurant staff I've ever met. The wait was about an hour long when we arrived at 7:30pm on Friday night so we decided to just order food to go and maybe eat in golden gate park. We got two pizzas and two olive oil cakes for four people. We got the bartender's choice wine shots while waiting for the food to come. Some bar seating opened up while we were waiting for the food so we hung out there and then the staff let us eat our pizzas there also. They also gave us plates, utensils, and water even though we initially wanted to do take out. We were also later accommodated at an outside table. I feel like so many popular SF places would not have been this nice during their busy hours. Okay onto the food - the ricotta sausage pizza was absolutely amazing and I would get it again! The pepperoni one is a classic and also great but the ricotta one stole the show. This was decently filling for the four of us. The olive oil cake was also amazing, and came with a side of ricotta cream which we polished off. We also got some of their bagels to-go, can't wait to try tomorrow morning! Edit: came back for the bagels and they were amazing, better than the average NYC bagel even. I got there a bit before 12 and the pumpernickel bagel and better cream cheese flavours already sold out so I’d recommend coming earlier."
"Great bagels and late night pizza. The wait for dinner can be slightly long but the experience is well worth it. They also have a great selection of beers too. But let’s get to the main course, the Detroit deep dish pizza. It was terrific!! And this coming from a guy who grew up in the Detroit area too. I had the mushroom pie, which had tons of fresh mushrooms and delicious cheeses. The hint of lemon really took it to another level. The cheese edges and the dough for sure made me think about home. If you have a chance, I would for sure head to the Laundromat for bagels or their late dinners. You won’t regret it."
"Came here coz of the instagram girl. Imma be honest I don’t know much about bagels, I’m french and in my culture we don’t boil bread. But this was prolly one of the best bagel I ate still. There’s no tables and they just sell you the bagels unprepared as is. They sell out fast also, we went at noon and everything was gone. We tried again at 10am on saturday thinking we were too late and we managed to get some. They do give you this prepared creamcheese boxes if you buy them, and it’s really good. Pieces of salmon and dill in it. Best cream cheese I ever had I guess! Edit: I finished it all, that cream cheese was addicting."
"Very friendly staff. We put our name/number down and were able to walk around. Great salads and a good size. I thought the crust was really good. Homemade ranch was good with fresh herbs."
"Possibly the best bagel shop in SF and such a hidden gem in the Richmond area. I’ve tried so many NY bagel spots and this place tastes just as good as the top shops on the east coast. I came on a weekend morning to order a few fresh bagels and ended up choosing the everything one and an egg bagel. Everything is nicely laid out on racks at the front of the shop for you to browse. Cream cheese is sold by the tub and they have a few flavors that all looked good. I ate mine right away and it was the perfect combination of chewy inside and more crispy outside. Love this concept! If the pizza and dinner food is anything like their bagels, then I recommend coming back to try those as well."
