Big Island Hawaiian BBQ

"My kid wanted a quick meal so we tried the Hawaiian bbq - Kids meal chicken katsu: good portion for little kids. The chicken was crispy but it only had a very thin layer of meat - Pineapple Dole whip: it was good and refreshing but a bit pricey for the portion we got. Overall, it was decent, so 3.5 stars for our experience"

"Excellent food and amazing staff! One of the cooks came out to comment on my spider earrings, I then excitedly showed her my spider nails and spider tattoo; she then went above and beyond and drew a spider on my to go box! I loved that little touch, totally lifted my spirits, and made me feel special. Now, down to the food... I ordered the teriyaki beef plate and the spam musubi. The food was hot, fresh, perfectly seasoned, and all-around enjoyable. The ingredients are clearly of higher quality. The restaurant and restroom were clean and well taken care of. 10/10 recommend."

"My visit here today was great the food was cooked just right and tasted delicious, but I always find it to be a waste of cabbage that is placed under the chicken katsu because I don't know anyone that actually eats it.. everything was the best especially the cold soft serve of the famous Dole Whip Yumm!! Overall great location this that could be improved cooks wearing hair nets, and if there isn't a proper lunch room for the employees atleast make sure they aren't eating their self made food at the counter. Thank you!!"
