"I've only been here twice but both times I got the Denver omelet (my go to at all breakfast restaurants) and I don't think they wash their vegetables good enough cuz I tasted like dirt. My daughter didn't even eat her French toast as she didn't like it. U know something isn't right when u leave Bacon on the table. Go to breakfast restaurant close would be Charlie's Cafe"
"Country Waffles stands alone, in a strip mall on busy Sunrise. It's a large, country-themed restaurant, clean but dated. The servers are pleasant and bring delicious food hot, from a big menu of traditional items for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast menu includes excellent country potatoes and delicious country gravy. Many regulars inhabit CW and that's always a good sign. This is one of three restaurants with the same local ownership. Flapjacks on El Camino & Taylor's in Loomis are also very good."
"The young man with the dirty goofy hat on who seated us was rude and told us to go sit down at a wet table top while he put our cutlery/napkin combos together. The food came out quick but was luke warm. The country potatoes could have been so good, but they weren't hot and had absolutely 0 seasoning on them. The prices are kind of ridiculous for the quality. I tried the chicken and waffles Benedict. Mushy sweet waffles with not crispy half a chicken strip under over poached eggs with flavorless hollandaise. The coffee was good. My son enjoyed his bannana foster waffle. He liked the soft, sweet waffle. So there is that. For the price ($40 bucks for two plates and a kids half waffle), there are FAR better places to have breakfast in Citrus Heights."
"The hash browns were the worst I have ever been served. Absolute mush with no flavor. The avocado was not ripe. I have ordered the food here from doordash many times and it was always good. But in person it was Terrible. I will never order the hash brown here again. I should have sent it back."
"Not only was the food AMAZING, the service was great too! The staff was super friendly and came by several times to refill our coffee with freshly made coffee and too see if we needed anything. We keeping coming back because it's like this every time!!"
