"We have been coming to Back Angus for about 20 years now, seeing the change in food quality and prices over the years. Prices are more expensive now but the quality of the food keeps dropping. Last night had to be one of our worst experiences here, so bad that my son wouldn’t want to eat the Ribeye Steak, and this young man loves steak. The 21 day aging steak process is nasty. I couldn’t eat and my son didn’t either. My baby girl wouldn’t even eat the quesadilla, she said “is nasty dad”. The buffalo chicken strips, no thanks. No A1-steak-sauce, but instead you get their brand, no thanks. We have been very disappointed one to many times, tonight is out last."

"Man, the steak is REALLY good. Why have I been sleeping on this place!? The sirloin and the New York Strip are tender, and the fat is perfectly charred. Best sirloin I've ever had! I enjoyed the molasses bread and butter. The green beans and steak toppers (garlic butter, onions, and mushrooms) are perfection. The mac & cheese is good, but it definitely lacked seasoning and should have been a bigger portion. The cocktails are also really good. The Strawberry Lemon Drop honestly didn't taste like it had any alcohol. That and the Pomegranate Martini are delicious. I sent the Montana Mai Tai back because it was way too strong, but once they remade it, it tasted great. Overall, I really liked the place. The service is good and the atmosphere/mood is nice. I've been here twice within one week, and I will definitely be coming back next week."

"Today we decided that we wanted a steak dinner, but didn’t feel like sitting in a restaurant. So we ordered for pickup. Have ordered from BA in the past and were always very satisfied. The difference between other times and now? It was 3 pm. The potato was horrible. I worked in a high end prime rib restaurant in the 70s while in school. It’s basic line cook knowledge that a potato cannot be in the hot box for more than a couple of hours. BA needs to insist that their cooks follow basic cooking rule. I have attached a photo of the potato as received. Before you say I should have brought it back, the steak, salad and bread were all over as usual delicious. But the potato ruined the meal. I’m not going to waste my time bringing it back I will think twice about ordering to go in the future"

"My Nephew was Blessed with a Bride and after the ceremony he made reservations. Daniel our Server was Amazing everyone were served drinks and their appetizers fresh and hot, our main courses cooked to perfection, and dessert to take home.. One the Great Experiences is there is Only ONE Black Angus in Sacramento area and treat to drive out for an Extraordinary dining experience."
