Reviews of Aji Sushi
"My girlfriend and I tried this place for the first time recently. We decided to do the lunch, all you can eat, sushi. The service was great, and the staff was friendly. The food was just ok. We tried the veggi and mixed tempura. It was a little on the greasy side, and it contains a Westerner friendly selection of veggies. We tried the gyoza, and it was decent. The eggrolls were similar to the cheap frozen ones you can get at the supermarket, nothing to write about, but they were crunchy. We tried 3 rolls, Hulk, yakitori, and shrimp tempura and didn't care for any of them. I tried the masago nigiri, and it had too much rice to masago ratio, and the seaweed wrap was really chewy. The Inari nigiri was delicious! To finish off, we had the green tea ice cream, and it was yummy. The decor is fun and Asian themed. This is not the place to go for great quality sushi, but this is the place to go for ok sushi and appetizers if you eat a lot and are ok with so-so food. In all fairness, I can't speak to how good all the sushi is because I didn't order anything raw. I didn't because the first 3 rolls weren't great quality, so I was worried about how fresh the raw fish would be. I will say that the miso soup was delicious, and I could have had a lot of that. I'm sorry to say that it wasn't good enough for us to return in the future. I hope this helps someone else who's wondering where to eat and if they are looking for a new place to try like we were."
"On a family visit, we were taken to Aji Sushi for all-you-can-eat sushi, and it was a delightful surprise. Having been skeptical about such offers, Aji Sushi changed my mind with their fresh, high-quality sushi at a reasonable price. The standout dish was the Pepper Fin, and the fresh sashimi was exceptional. Complementing the meal with Choyo Yuzu Citrus Fruit sake was a great choice. With a party of five, everyone was impressed. Excellent customer service added to our wonderful experience. Highly recommend for sushi lovers."
"Been coming here since they first opened, I moved to Lincoln 5 years ago so I haven’t been since then. Back when I lived in Antelope I would frequently visit they had great pricing lunch buffet was around $11-12 and dinner buffet was $20, now lunch is $20 and dinner is around $30. They made ordering easier through a tablet for drinks, food, and desert, server explained everything and would periodically bring water and clear the dishes. To each it’s own for pricing, not much changed with the quality of the sushi aside from using different plates for presentation, area is not the best , in my opinion $30 for unlimited sushi is still a great deal."
"First time here. Nothing to hype about this place. Service was A+ our waitress was super friendly & went through the lunch menu with us. We get total of 3 rounds. While we waited for our first round to be made. I went & got pot stickers, eggrolls & spicy edamame at the mini salad bar. Eggrolls was terrible, inside was mushy veggies. Also ordered fry oysters, WISH we did not. It was mushy, OLD, NOT FRESH & ice cold in the center. Our sushi rolls came out on the platter. If you ever see your tuna bright pink, be ready for the wrose. It did not taste great. Tuna/salmon wasn't fresh. Rice was overcooked & imitation crabs tasted so wet/mushy. They packed those rolls with nasty mushy imitation crabs. I did not paid to eat baby food. The only thing that fresh on that platter was the avocado. It was so bad we did not finish our rolls nor go for 2nd round. Overall, potsticker & my hot tea were the highlight. Please save your money for sushi cafe."
