"Great local dinner with that old school feeling. They serve diner, Classics and even have a classic counter. Coffee shop vibes in a very urban area. they serve beer and some amazing lunch specials. Great breakfast joint as well."

"I've been hearing about how good this place is....so I was close by and decided to have breakfast had the chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy....the gravy had a weird taste I just couldn't figure it out. And the steak was a bit chewy. But I don't understand why people think this is good food they have a big menu so it must be difficult to maintain quality with so many things being made. So next time I want chicken fries back I'm going to make the drive like I always do to Charlie's"

"Really good diner food. Great covered patio. Bacon French toast was LUX! Covered in fruit and syrup, hands down best breakfast dessert I’ve had in a long time. Also the veggie omelette had beautiful fried tomatoes on top, and loads of perfectly done vegetables. Very nice wait staff, and I think one of the kitchen guys might have been the owner checked on us to make sure we liked it. Will 100% be coming back a lot."

"Checking out reviews to see if you should go to Lil Joe's? Look no further! Lil Joe's Is the perfect diner breakfast and lunch meals you're looking for. The customer service was outstanding. From the waitresses to the cooks to even the owner everyone was so friendly and caring. Some of my posted pictures are of some Bundt cakes The owner made in the morning and they were absolutely magnificent! This was my husband's and my first time visiting the historic establishment. We were absolutely blown away with how affordable and delicious the food was and how incredible the service was. We cannot wait to come back and dine and try more of their awesome breakfast and lunch menues! Highly recommend their sourdough toast and breakfast burger!!"

"Lil Joe's on Del Paso BLVD. Has been a family fave for so long. As a child, my family took me so many happy memories. In the 1980s and 90' s, I took my kids. It's always been easy to get to, quick to get seated. Lil Joe is now standing at the golden cash register in the sky, welcoming all he sees. A man who used to be a patron loved the nice vibe of Lil Joe's, so he bought the restaurant and brought it back to life. Thank the good lord for that! I had the most delicious Bacon Pecan French Toast. It was the best I've ever had. I definitely order it again. My husband had New York steak with eggs and hashbrowns and coffee. Everything was perfect and delicious!"
