Q1227 Restaurant

"First time to this place, do not know to book in advance. But luckily we were seated by the waiter. At the time of payment, he was charged an 18% service tip in advance. But I didn't notice, left another 20% tip, and when I got home I discovered the problem. I called and they were kind enough to cancel the second tip. Overall the food was very delicious. The two of us didn't finish half of what we ordered."

"This was our first time dining at Q1227. Our server was fantastic! In fact all of the servers who waited on us were friendly, professional and efficient. The food was excellent and the portions are more than enough. In this case both quality and quantity apply to the menu items we ordered. We had the Pork Chop, Q-dog, Mashed Potatoes , Okra and the Garlic Cheese Loaf. Way too much food for two people, but all that meant is we took our leftovers home to enjoy again! We will definitely be back to Q1227. BTW, reservations are a strong suggestion as the place is well known and continuously busy."

"The food was absolutely amazing! We ordered the lobster bites, artichoke bites, garlic cheese loaf, shrimp and grits, jambalaya and carrot cake. We loved everything! The service is great. We got to meet Chef Q — the man behind it all! Enjoyed the hospitality, and warm atmosphere. It’s no wonder they are moving to a larger location in town! If you appreciate good food and presentation, you should try this place."

"My husband had the jambalaya, He said it was a 7/10. It had a very unique flavor. I had the short ribs, and I would give it a 9/10. We shared two appetizers , the pork belly and the beef and blue, both 10/10. We also share the mac and cheese, I would give it a 5/10 it was mostly breadcrumbs with barely any cheese, and I wish it was creamier. Overall, it was a great experience and excellent customer service"

"The most scrumptious food I've had since pre-pandemic days! Kudos to chef Q. Definitely will be back, and hopefully get to meet chef Q this time! Service was also awesome with very courteous and friendly staff members."
