"Bellevue Auto rocks I think country were service and value still exist Bellevue Auto Repair you rock"
"Moved here two years ago and needed a car repair on my wife's Hyundai Santa Fe. Found this shop and they did a great job and it was cheaper than it would have cost in Nashville. Same Hyundai a year later had it leaking oil from the main seal, they looked at it and ran some some oil thru it and tested it. They told us that it would be a Dealership job, and didn't charge us a penny. We traded it in the next week. They repaired my Ford truck and Nissan Altima and the price is always reasonable. They always are courteous and professional."
"You will not find a better group of guys that are honest and want to help people. They have been working on my cars for over a year now and I would never question their professionalism and quality of work. Dwight the owner is very laidback and helpful. A friend of mine referred them to me and seeing I live so close makes it very convenient. Awesome and hope they are there for years to come. It’s hard finding someone you can trust, that does great work! Ford Raptor, Nissan Rogue, Jaguar XKR Is what they have worked on for me so far."
"Yesterday I picked up my car for what WILL be the last time from the worst excuse for an auto "repair" shop I've come across in over 30 years of dealing with mechanics. I initially brought my 1999 Honda CRV in to DWIGHT based on good recommendations of a friend and a family member due to loss of power and backfiring. Both Autozone and another person had used their diagnostic machines, and both came back coding only as an 02 sensor. I let DWIGHT know this, which was my 2nd mistake. Literally 1 week later he replaced the muffler, but still hadn't received the correct 02 sensor because he "only orders from the manufacturer" (come to find out, the "manufacturer" is Autozone, in this case), and the first 2 he ordered had failed. Thank God I'm sometimes able to work from home, but I needed the car for a Saturday job, and was assured by DWIGHT that the car would function well enough to get me there and back, to return the car on the following Monday, he would put the correct 02 sensor in by Wednesday, and I'd be mobile again. Fine. Well, Monday afternoon (after a Saturday/Sunday of loss of power and backfiring), I found myself and car stranded at work over 50 miles from home and DWIGHT. $150 and a tow later, I had the car towed back to BELLEVUE AUTO REPAIR (Mistake #3), to be informed the issue was the Starter. Fine. Starter replaced, and we're now at just under $600 for repairs not counting the tow. The starter was replaced on Wednesday, as well as the 02 Sensor. Thursday and Friday I continued to experience difficulty starting in the heat of the afternoon, as well as occasional backfiring. Yet again, on Friday, I found myself stranded at work. My brother in law graciously drove from Fairview to Donelson and replaced the distributor cap, thinking that it may simply not be getting fire to the starter. No dice. So my car sat at work for literally a week, because thankfully I had another means of transport to and from work while we figured out our next move. During this time, the FOLLOWING Friday, the owner of ANAND TIRE SHOP at the corner of Donelson/Harding came to my work and noticed a loose connection at the starter within SECONDS. He tightened the connection and BOOM! Power! Fire! Ignition! On the way home, I experienced AGAIN loss of power and backfiring, BUT was able to get the car back to DWIGHT (Mistake #4). Nevermind that since the beginning of this ordeal, I had asked DWIGHT point blank to his face "What was causing the backfiring?" to NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. Finally, on 9/30 my Mother went to DWIGHT (because by this point, I didn't have bail money put back) and told him point by point, instance by instance what had happened. He hobbled his inconsiderate rear end to the car (by this time at my Mother's house in Fairview) and drove it back as it BACKFIRED yet again, and his ONLY response to my Mother was "You all insisted it was the 02 sensor.". PLEASE. I do tech support, and rarely is the person who is having an issue able to correctly diagnose the issue, and you, a respected "mechanic" are taking the word of 2 people who walked in off the street?! The afternoon of 9/30, after NO call, come to find out he has replaced COMPLETELY the distributor, to the tune of around $400!! I have my car back now, but only after a loan from my Dad for that repair, and my brother in law having to inform the chimpanzee on duty at BELLEVUE AUTO REPAIR that, no, there was no core charge for a Distributor, so we'd be needing the old one back. This "man" Dwight, I've never actually seen either standing or moving from his cluttered counter to do anything more than ignore blatant questions, employ workers with the mechanical aptitude of a pork rind, will hopefully slowly lose business to the point that he begins to enjoy the retirement he so clearly should've taken decades ago. AVOID at ALL costs!! I delivered auto parts to largely Mexican and Arabic mechanics in Detroit for years, and not ONE of them would've done business this poorly."
"This is the shop I always go to. Very honest guys, very hard working, and very reasonably priced. My whole family uses this shop, from my grandfather Kent, my mother and myself. He's worked on all my cars and my Chrystler is up there right now. Never once had a problem, unlike so many other shops."
