"passing through davis and was craving pho: according to social media, sit lo saigon was one of the best pho spots in town. // ambiance // located in downtown, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. order at the front when you walk in and your food is brought to you. self serve water, iced black tea, and hot green tea. // service // friendly employees and our food came in less than 10 minutes. each table also gets a platter of onions, steamed bean sprouts, lime, etc. // price + portion // pho ranges from $13.95 to premium versions of $18.95. $13.95 is very affordable for dinner nowadays in the bay area. good portion size with a lot of broth and decent amount of noodles and meat. // #1 pho tai - ribeye ($13.95) // i decided to get the ribeye since it is the thin cut of meat. the meat was good and i opted for the handmade fresh noodles which are the wider cut. my only critique is the broth was not very flavorful -- i had to add a lot of hoisin sauce and sriracha to compensate. i wish that the broth was a bit stronger. otherwise, it was decent pho and a pretty good price. // would i reorder/return? // i would come back to sit lo if i was craving vietnamese food in vietnam. the saigon pho looks good if you want a lot of different meat too."

"This is the best pho I have had! The flavor is absolutely amazing! The service is alright, the inside of the place is okay! I got the #1s and I would highly recommend it! I also got the coconut water and it was 90% ice... for the price I wouldn't recommend it...."

"The place was very busy, but we were served at a good speed. I got a regular Pho soup with no meat. Was very tasteful and would recommend to go for lunch or dinner. It does get crowded and could feel a bit uncomfortable depending where you are seated. Overall great experience!"

"We've been to MANY Pho shops around the country from LA to Boston to Houston to SF and Sit Lo Saigon is The BEST Pho we've ever had, amazing flavorful soup, big servings. The house music could be more to the jazz side and turned down a bit. Their gigantic bone marrow is PERFECTLY cooked and the broth so tasty! Here's what's left of the bone marrow - strictly bone! Hahaha! We wanna come back tomorrow!"

"Tried this place today on their first day of opening here in Davis. If they keep up the quality & quantity of food, then it is the best pho place in Davis. Flavor is rich, lots of meat for good price. Hopefully it does not change after they’re open for a while."
