Reviews of Pete's Restaurant & Brewhouse
"I called in an order and when I went to pick it up I let the cashier know that my salad did not look correct as there was onion strings on top when they were supposed to be on the side. I went home and realized there was no almonds, no radishes and the bare minimum of blue cheese. My steak was supposed to be medium well and was medium. At first I was going to let it go but had been bothering me all night that I just paid $20 for a bunch of salad, a little bit of steak and some blue cheese. When I called and spoke to the manager Ronnie she was extremely rude and unprofessional. She told me to get these kind of phone calls all the time and that people try to basically get over on them. I feel like that was a slap in the face as a customer and when I expressed how I felt she continued with her unprofessional behavior. I let her know that I could hear the conversation that she had with the staff about me calling and she said if she went to meet me she would have and she had nothing to hide about what she had to say. The overall unprofessionalism of the staff when I went to pick up and the manager I'm in shock with this business is still open. When I used to bartender in the I used to frequent this place a lot and am astonished at how it's ran now. Definitely left a bad taste of my mouth and definitely will be sharing my thoughts with friends and family in the area."
"Service was excellent, was delicious. I will definitely be back."
"Attentive service, good food, basketball and hockey on screens all around. Food arrived quickly. Great experience. It helps to arrive during happy hour. Two meals, an appetizer, and two drinks, for under $60."
"I ate here on a whim to try out what looked like a small town restaurant. The restaurant was busy! I was definitely excited to try out some Pete’s! But that did not last long. To start I tried the Famous Knots, which were absolutely no different than the ones from the grocery store or any half baked pizza cart. The marinara to dip the knots was underwhelming and tasted a bit like pizza sauce. It was suggested that I try them with ranch dip, which did make them more appealing… but basically all you can taste is the ranch. Since the marinara was uninspired and the Famous Knots were undeserving of the notoriety I decided to try the Turkey burger instead of trying the next notably famous dish: the pizza. The turkey patty was good, definitely a frozen and reheated product, though. The bun, lettuce and guacamole were fresh. The tomato was a bit rubbery and decidedly over refrigerated. Instead of fries I tried the coleslaw, which was ok. The good news for potential customers is, that apparently the pizza is really supposed to be excellent. The staff, for the most part, is friendly. Only because the bartender tried to make my meal something more than the bland medley of Cisco Foods, I will come again to try the pizza the next time I am in town."
