"All the thrift stores these days are not just honoring where the donations come from it's important that they're racking up the prices so high it's not even if I can go get a brand new for the same price almost that's ridiculous they shouldn't even be opening stores like that if not going to be selling it as Thrifty prices. Thrift store means very cheap not near retail price where you can get it because half of them do not donate or contribute the money to where the resources came from"

"I enter the neighborhood thrift store and bells chimed. The woman sitting behind the counter does not greet me. I locate the books, (the reason I’m there) and I ask what are the prices. I’m told they are individually marked. I proceed to look through the books and the first few are in fact not marked. I bring this to her attention, she grabs the book and rattles off a random price of $8! Now, again, this is a neighborhood thrift store. No one patronizes a thrift store to pay for retail prices on used items! The items are donated and then marked up to resell usually for a nonprofit business. They will never see me again!"
