"I've been coming here for over 20 years. The owner is amazing and treats everyone like family. He is nearly always there and greets everyone with the biggest smile. They have THEE BEST salsa! It's homemade and has a perfect somewhat chunky texture. Because of the chunkiness it stays put and doesn't just pour through your burrito. Their salsa really is what sets them apart from some other taco shop. We all have our special places for certain Mexican food. This is my breakfast burrito place. I cannot (and would not) get a breakfast burrito anywhere else. I also love their carne asada and plain quesadillas. It's got a little crunch to the outside so it's not this limp tortilla with greasy cheese like so many places tend to serve. Another cool thing is they give you a choice between American and Mexican guacamole. I don't know another taco shop that gives the customer that option. They just really care about making the customer happy and making great food."
"Always one of our most favorite places for rolled tacos. Everyone is friendly and the renovations look amazing!!!"
"It's OK, customer service was great everything else had issues. There are better options nearby. Food: Birria quesodilla was sloppy. Granted its Birria and supposed to be but it was just a soggy mess and could not be eaten with out a fork. Flavor was mostly salt. Bean and cheese burrito had almost no flavor and I often judge a taco shop on the mastery of the basics. Salsa game had a lot of choices but most were pretty weak on flavor and heat. Service: 1 older guy amd he was handling 7 people at the same time. Doing cooking, counter, and service. Hats off to that guy. Atmosphere: Mostly bright red and white paint to give the illusion of personality. Honestly the original style had way more personality. This feels like if McDonald's did a taco shop. Additional: Patio dinning available but tons of homeless outside make that less than desirable. They are super easy to access and lots of parking are a definite plus. The open doors contribute to a mass of flies that just stay in the shop, that's gross. Final review: I would prefer not to eat here. Maybe take out if a friend really liked that spot, but would not be my first through fifth choice."
"Owner is super nice, food is good. Their homemade salsa some of the best I’ve had. Clean curious and fast. Will eat here often when I’m in the area"
"I grabbed two Carne Asada tacos, not the street size but the regular size and they came with salsa fresca, guacamole, and two tortillas. It was fresh off the grill hot and tasty! About $5 taco but worth the price because the size!! The restaurant is very pleasing to the eye. It is extremely clean and feels very upscale compared to your typical taco shop! I will definitely try the carne asada fries next time!"
