"My niece and I went here today. She was so excited to return since this is where her husband proposed to her in 2014. To start off I will say that our waiter was very nice and attentive, however I don't remember his name. The guacamole was slightly bland. Our bacon wrapped shrimp was just okay. My niece's posole was also bland and under seasoned. My enchiladas were just okay. To top it off, a woman decided that it was okay to start sweeping by our table while we were trying to enjoy our dinner. After a disappointing dinner there were 2 hostesses in the front that didn't even say thank you or goodbye to us. I cannot recommend this restaurant to family and friends!"

"my three-week stay at my friend's place in Jamul, I stumbled upon this hidden gem that even she, a resident for two years, hadn't heard of. Intrigued by the positive reviews, we decided to give it a try. On our visit on January 4th, we were greeted by the lingering Christmas decorations, and I must say, it was a delightful surprise. The festive decor was so well-executed that you could tell professional decorators had crafted the enchanting ambiance. We were seated on the second floor in a comfortable booth, enhancing our overall dining experience. We started with 2 hazy IPAs, a Sample Platter for an appetizer, and two entrees – the Chimichanga and Fajitas with beef. Every dish was a flavor explosion! From the appetizer to the main courses, we couldn't help but savor every bite. The service was equally commendable, adding to the overall positive impression. This place unquestionably deserves a solid 5 stars! I will definitely return when I'm in the area, and I'm confident my friend will become a regular customer too. In fact, you've gained five new constant customers – a family of five. Thank you for providing such a fantastic dining experience!"

"A very solid family friendly Mexican restaurant experience with all the combo plates and favorites that you would expect. Service was super fast and friendly and the food was tasty and good portions. Chips and salsa were yummy and refilled quickly. It’s not super memorable but it seems like a solid go-to place that I wouldn’t mind returning to in the future."

"Food was good just somethings needed more Salt. Atmosphere was wonderful. Was a little crowded but it was a Friday and servers were overwhelmed. Overall the service was ok. The Sampler platter was amazing and worth the price."
