"This has been my got to place since I was 13 years old least, I'm 32 now. The bean and cheese is a kids best friend. The service always friendly and quick. Me and my man know the main guy up front and he's a hard working good guy. Among other things I get there often, the rolled tacos, horchata, shredded beef chimichanga and California burrito is my shiz."

"I love this taco shop, I’ve been coming here for years now. I would recommend it 10/10. It is by far the most consistent one around. The food is always outstanding. The customer service is always the best it could be. I ALWAYS have plenty of salsa, napkins & utensils as well!! Every-time I go the gentleman at the front counter is always very nice. They always make my food exactly as I order it. As well as affordable!! I have NEVER had a BAD experience here. Thank you so much Silvas!! :)"

"Had an Amazing California burrito with guacamole from here this weekend. Great service from the attentive polite young man working the counter and a delicious extra large burrito that I had to split into two meals. Plus they Hooked Up the guacamole in a big way. The red sauce tasted decent too but was very thin/watered down and could use some more love I think"

"A staple of El cajon. El cajon is a saturated market of taco shops. Standing out of such A large variety is often difficult. Silva's, while easily missed due to location issues is arguably one of the best options in the city. Silva's, stands out by quality and quantity. Everyone always has their favorite spot and a lot of locals choose to go here. Thier customer service is also a high point. They often go to any lengths to satisfy your needs. The downside- Location is very poor. Situated nearby and across from the famous Yogurt Mill, Silv's tiny lot between taller building and very inconvenient access and parking make this location had to get to and very easy to drive past. Additionally their sauce game is pretty weak. Their sauce options of red and green are very watery, and aside from some heat offer no flavor. Red is spicier and packs some decent heat, while the green is a weird unnatural nuclear waste green color and has little heat or flavor. Recommendation- I love the Grande burrito, but their breakfast burrito is also a top choice. I do highly recommend this location just bring your own sauce."
