"I stopped by the Carl's Jr. on Bernardo Center Drive to pickup a couple of items for my wife. Rather than go through the drive-thru (which was busy), I opted to park and walk in. Once inside, I saw one person working at the drive-thru window and two other people in the back preparing orders. There was no one (that I could see) that was working the front counter. There was a self-order terminal but since this was my first encounter with a terminal like this, I opted to see if someone would eventually come and take my order. After a few minutes of waiting, someone did arrive. Once that happened, my experience was much better. The order taker was personable and professional and helped me with the special order I was requesting. Within a few short minutes, my order was ready and I was on the way home. My wife said the food was fine (typical of restaurants of this variety). ."

"Be aware, this Carls Jr Store #1102264 on 16614 Dove Canyon Rd. adds and charges about 3.5% service fee to your food bill and manager in site did not provide a good reason/explanation for it only stated it was to offset the company’s and owner’s costs and it was a mandatory imposed fee. I think the store’s policy should be not to pass the cost to their customers and/or at least post a sign for paying customers next to the cash resisters indicating that a service fee is mandatory and will be assessed. I do not agree with this fee and refuse to pay this fee in the future therefore I will never visit this Carls Jr again."

"Went in today 11/28/23@12:30pm, order food for my employer asked for special order of fries to be fresh. This was a take out order, I didn't check my order before leaving wish I did. Got to the office the fries where old and cold the box with grease absorption and sticker "special" nothing about my French fries where fresh or special ordered. It looks like they just refried them. Disappointment. E.L."

"Carl's Junior is very adequate. Nothing special, but definitely hits the spot when you're in the mood for it. The amount of shredded lettuce and the size of the tomatoes is consistently disappointing, but the flavor of their double cheeseburgers is generally pretty satisfying."
