"My recent visit to Kujo Eats in National City was an absolute delight for my taste buds! This hidden gem offers a truly authentic Filipino dining experience that left me craving for more. The Sisig was a perfect blend of crispy and savory, with just the right amount of zing from the spices. It’s undoubtedly one of the best I’ve ever tasted, and I can’t wait to have it again. The Lechon was heavenly - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. It was like biting into a piece of Filipino tradition. I couldn’t resist seconds! The Beef BBQ Rib was a meat lover’s dream come true. Juicy, succulent, and marinated to perfection, it was a true highlight of the meal. The Sinigang was a comforting bowl of tangy goodness. The balance of flavors in this traditional Filipino soup was spot on, and it complemented the other dishes beautifully. To top it all off, the rice was fluffy and the portions were generous. The friendly staff and cozy ambiance only added to the overall experience. Kujo Eats has won my heart with their dedication to serving authentic Filipino dishes. If you’re in National City and craving a taste of the Philippines, don’t miss out on this culinary treasure. Highly recommended!"
"A fellow Yelper recommended me this place. She said if you like Filipino food, check out Kujo Eats, it’s not as salty. Very true, it’s not as salty. This place has potential, they just need more time to grow and perfect their dishes. We got two plates of 2 item combo. The portions are generous. -pancit with chicken adobo and longganisa -fried rice with sisig and lechon -side order of sinigang The sisig was wet not dry and crispy like I’m used to. It also had a lot of citrus calamansi flavor. The fried rice was better than other Filipino places. We had asked for other items that we saw on the party tray menu like kaldereta but they said they haven’t perfected it yet so it’s not being sold as an individual item. But yet it’s being offered as a party tray? That was odd. I would come back after a year or so. We didn’t get the chance to try their desserts. They claim to have the best halo halo in town."
"The food was very good and the plate was filled up ! You can literally share it easily with someone. My husband ordered a side of Lechon & he said it was delicious and they don’t skimp on the serving . Would definitely order food from here again. I enjoyed the Pancit and chicken adobo, yummy flavors. I didn’t get a picture of everything my husband ordered, but if you’re in the neighborhood definitely check them out ."
"Man this food is bomb! Right when I walked in the door the smell had my stomach growling! The food was delicious! I met the owner Joel and he was so friendly! From the Thrifty ice cream to the Ube dessert I was blown away! This is a Hawaiian and Filipino restaurant. This is a must try if you are in the area!"
